Wilson studied for a PhD (part time) at the UTS and the University of NSW. An accomplished and motivated professional geologist, he has extensive Australian and international experience and expertise in the field of economic geology (exploration and mining) and project management. He has gained most of his 40 years of field experience by working in various commodities, including: Precious & base metals (copper, lead, and zinc); tungsten; tin; molybdenum; Ni-chromium; PGM; uranium; and iron ore. During his career, Wilson has explored, evaluated, generated, managed and developed mineral deposits and projects around the world (in Australia, Canada, USA, West and North Africa, South East Asia, South America, the South Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and the Island of Cyprus). Wilson’s solid field experience covers the whole spectrum: from area selection; project generation globally; grass-roots; prospect evaluation; ore modelling; resource estimation; drilling; targeting; scoping and pre-feasibility studies; through to mine development. (He was instrumental in discovering a major Tungsten deposit.)
His extensive experience and wide international networks within the mineral industry aids in research, negotiations and acquisition of exploration projects internationally.
